So I did this back at the beginning of May for a friend's birthday.

Only now am I uploading it- mostly because I forgot all about it.

I used a lot of references for this, most notably =cypherx's Basic Balloon tutorial

I remember I had trouble with this- accidentally shrunk the size to less than half of what it is now, and I had to try and enlarge it. So some of the quality was lost.

There are a few things now that I would change, but I'm leaving it in the state it was when I gave it to my friend. =]

I really love the lighting of the balloons. It reminds me of those children's books that are slightly rough on the lining of an object (this is actually a compliment by the way :P), I've always liked that slightly blurred style.
And I like how simple the dress is, it ensures that the entire picture isn't too ornamentated :)

Thank you so much for your comment. I love your description of the balloons, I like a scratchy, kind of blurred style. I'm glad it doesn't look as silly as I thought it might.

I'm also glad you commented on the dress! Originally, I had it more detailed, but then decided I didn't want to go overboard.

This is really cute and I love the balloons ... especially the purple one (my favorite color)
